Fountain City Dog Training believes that even the toughest cases of behavioral problems can be addressed and resolved using our program. Aggressive dogs often get worse treatment and less understanding than dogs with other behavioral issues. This is especially terrible because they are often more fragile psychologically than dogs with other, more accepted behavioral issues. We train aggressive dogs through customized in-home sessions that are meant to address the dogs as a whole. When we meet with a dog for the first time we assess every aspect of their lives that is possible and mold our training to their specific case. Dogs don’t develop their behavioral issues in the same way, although they may exhibit the same behaviors. That’s why in-home training that can delve into the root of their issues is so much more effective than a strict, one-size-fits-all method.

In the case of aggressive dogs especially, we are often not the first trainer to work with the dog. We work to make sure that we are the last, however, by training you, the owner, to become the trainer yourself. After we come in, educate you, and show you how our training works, our training’s goal is for you and your dog to have the tools you need to foster a relationship of understanding and respect for years to come without ever needing another trainer. Don’t worry though! You’re never left alone in this process of rehabilitating and teaching your dog. Our training is commitment-based, which means we maintain our client-trainer relationship with you until all of our training goals are met. That’s something awesome to look forward to.
